Color-Oddities: Tales of Our State’s Strangest Creatures

This dynamic duo have documented some of the strangest creatures, many of them very rare and endangered, to be found in the highest state. Learn the truth about fur bearing trout, catfish, cow elk, coyotes, jackalopes, jackapheasants, jack-ass rabbits and other remarkable critters. Libations encouraged during the lecture to help you swallow some improbable stretchers.

Join Tom “Dr. Colorado” Noel July 26th through July 28th for an eye-opening tour of old Spanish Colorado. On Friday morning our bus will depart for La Veta, a hideaway little mountain art colony. After lunch in La Veta, we will board the Rio Grande Scenic R.R. for a trip to Fort Garland for a tour and dinner.  We overnight in Alamosa. Next day, our motor coach takes us to Chama, NM, for a trip aboard the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic R.R., the longest and highest steam narrow gauge excursion in the United States (Reservations Required).
